Customer Isn’t Seeing a Payment Option

If you have a customer who contacts you because they are trying to place an online order, and are not seeing a payment option on the checkout page, here is what you can do.

Notice that the checkout image below only shows a promo code option, and not a payment option:

This occurs when the system recognizes a problem with the customer’s order. ¬†At the top of the checkout page, your customer probably has this error:

First, verify that the customer:

  • is seeing the error at the top of the checkout page
  • is logged into their account
  • used the “Order This Again” button on their account page:

If all of the above are true, ask the customer to:

  • Log into their¬†account
  • Choose “Start a New Order”

  • Then, go ahead and place a brand new order
  • The following time they log into their account, they will be able to reorder this newest order without a problem
