With Brandibble, you can attach images to locations, menu items, modifiers and even menu categories. Here, we’ll discuss how to add an image to a modifier.
Go to Menus >> Modifiers to attach photos to any of your modifiers. For each modifier, you can attach a small and a large image.
The small image will be used on pages within the site where a lot of other images may also appear. This means your customer doesn’t have to wait to see a page with lots of great eye candy. We recommend the small image be saved at 420 x 420 pixels. Examples of when we use the small image include on a menu page with lots of options.
The large image is usually the same image as the small image, but it is a size of 2100 x 1400 pixels. This allows for a larger view of the category to appear on pages specific to that item.
So, what’s the takeaway here?
Well, we recommend that for every image you want on the site, you have two versions, one saved in a small size, and one saved in a large size. PhotoShop is the easiest way to accomplish this, but we also recommend PicMonkey.com…it’s a great website where you can easily resize photos for free and save them to your computer.
